Summary
The overarching goal of this work is to inform the implementation of existing and novel interventions for immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) among people who inject drugs (PWID) integrating behavioral, mobility and infectious disease transmission dynamics. PWID bear a disproportionate burden of both HIV and HCV and tend to lag behind other populations with respect to progress towards elimination goals.
