Cervicovaginal microbiome, mucosal immunity, and pathogen factors that contribute to spontaneous clearance of Chlamydia trachomatis

Summary

This proposal addresses the objectives of defining factors that influence clearance of STIs. We propose to investigate associations between spontaneous CT clearance and the vaginal microbiome (structure, function and metabolome), mucosal immunity, and CT serovar-specific features.
