The Lamichhane lab will undertake mycobacterial studies in the mouse model. This will involve assessing the LD-transpeptidases during various stages of infection in the mouse model as can be inferred from in vitro studies with β-lactam based probes developed in the Beatty lab. Additionally, we will also collaborate on probing of the L,D-transpeptidases in mycobacteria.
