Our team at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment for children and their families.
The division of Pediatric Radiology always offers radiation-free and low-dose options for pediatric imaging. Our team performs procedures using diagnostic tests, including ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine.
After reviewing the images, our pediatric radiologists work closely with your child’s doctors to develop a comprehensive care plan.

*the patient must be older than 5 years old, can hold still for at least 10 minutes, and CT does not require contrast. The patient must be 8 or older for contrast CT exams.
**The patient cmust be older than 5 years old for non-contrast MRI exams. Must be 8 or older for contrast MRI exams.(varies from 30 minutes to over an hour)
***Vascular exams must be scheduled at the Children’s Center. Infant Hip, Neonatal Head and Spine unltrasounds cannot be performed at Bethesda or Columbia.
