Reed Donaldson Quinn, M.D., is a cardiothoracic surgeon in Bethesda, Maryland at Suburban Hospital. He has clinical expertise in structural heart procedures, including aortic, mitral, tricuspid, and pulmonary valve repairs and replacements. He also has experience the treatment of endocarditis, percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures, and LVOT enlargements. 

Dr. Quinn earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, and completed residency in thoracic surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He pursued a clinical fellowship was at Boston’s Children’s Hospital. He started his surgical practice at Maine Medical Center as Director of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery in 1994. In 2005, he was named Associate Chief of Cardiac Services, Division Director Cardiothoracic Surgery. He is the founder of the Maine Foundation for Cardiac Surgery.
