Gudzune Promoted to Associate Professor

It gives us tremendous pleasure to announce the promotion of Kimberly Gudzune, MD, MPH to Associate Professor (FT) in General Internal Medicine!

Dr. Gudzune graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado at Boulder and earned her MD and MPH at Tulane University. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland followed by a GIM Fellowship at Hopkins.

After completing fellowship, Dr. Gudzune was recruited to our faculty in 2012 where she developed clinical expertise and conducted nationally recognized research in the prevention and treatment of obesity, including work highlighting the disparities and bias in the care of patients with obesity. She is active in teaching medical students, is Clinical Director for the Preventive Medicine Residency Program and a recipient of the Brancati Mentoring Award.
