Welcome to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Critical Care Medicine! The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is the pediatric trauma, burn, and transplant center (heart, liver, kidney) in our region, with a busy extracorporeal membrane oxygenation program and critical care transport team that serves Maryland and the surrounding region. We care for patients in our 28-bed PICU and 12-bed PCICU. Our mission is to train pediatric intensivists who are exemplary clinicians, professional and humanistic, and the future pediatric leaders in research, child advocacy, hospital systems, and medical education. We also value a strong culture of collegiality, cohesiveness, and helping each other both at the fellow and faculty level.
