Established in the late 1980s with a robust archive spanning decades, Discovery highlights breakthroughs in precision prostate and other urologic cancer research, advancements in minimally invasive surgery and the people driving progress in the field. Meet the Editor

Nirmish Singla, M.D., M.Sc., became Editor-in-Chief of Discovery in 2025, marking a new chapter for the Brady Urological Institute’s flagship publication. An accomplished surgeon-scientist and leader in urologic oncology, Dr. Singla brings a strong commitment to advancing research and showcasing the discoveries that drive progress in patient care. He succeeds Patrick C. Walsh, M.D., who served as Discovery’s founding Editor-in-Chief for more than 25 years, helping shape the publication into a reflection of the Brady’s enduring mission to advance innovation, research and the impact of philanthropy.
