Vice President of Strategy
Soula Banich, MHASoula Banich, MHA, is vice president of strategy at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. She leads the hospital’s strategic planning and oversees development and management of strategic affiliations and initiatives with other health care and academic organizations. She works closely with the hospital president and Board of Trustees Planning Committee, as well as clinical, academic and affiliate leaders, to shape long-term strategic priorities and align organizational partnerships and resources to achieve them. She joined the hospital staff in 2026.
Banich is an accomplished health care executive with more than 17 years of leadership experience in pediatric, academic and community hospital environments. She previously served as a regional chief operating officer for Indiana University Health, where she had responsibility for multiple hospitals and played a central role in advancing regional growth, strategic planning and operational performance.
Throughout her career, Banich has led large-scale strategic initiatives grounded in market analytics, service line performance and workforce planning, including helping lead a $300 million hospital construction and expansion effort. Her work has expanded ambulatory and hospital footprints, strengthened service line volumes, and improved patient access and market share in highly competitive markets.
She holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Purdue University.
