Matthew Nesbitt joined the Johns Hopkins Health System in 2008, working in an information technology finance role. Since then, he has served in several roles across the organization, with most of his Johns Hopkins career in information technology.
Currently, Matt serves as Program Executive for Sightline, a multi-year program to implement Workday across Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System. Sightline aims to modernize business processes and introduces advanced technology solutions. Matt oversees a broad portfolio of administrative systems supporting finance, human resources, payroll, sponsored projects, and supply chain. His work emphasizes user-focused application design, simple and powerful data analytics that drive institutional strategy, Johns Hopkins’ mission to serve higher education, patients and research, as well as to create an environment where employees can thrive and do their best work.
Nesbitt earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Towson University in 2008 and an M.B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University in 2012.
