Lakmini Kidder

Lakmini Kidder is the vice president of revenue cycle management for the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Ms. Kidder leads all activities related to the health system’s revenue cycle management and works closely with each of Johns Hopkins’ hospitals and member organizations to implement the overall strategy to align the delivery of revenue cycle services and programs across the health system. She is also responsible for appraising and forecasting to determine  desired set of future conditions and strategies to achieve the enterprise’s goals.

A seasoned finance executive, Ms. Kidder joined Johns Hopkins from Regions Hospital, the flagship hospital for HealthPartners, an integrated health care organization with seven hospitals and more than 55 clinic locations throughout Minneapolis-St. Paul and western Wisconsin. As the senior director of revenue cycle services, she directly oversaw revenue cycle performance and operations, organizational cash flow and revenue integrity for Regions Hospital.

Ms. Kidder is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). In 2016, the Regions Hospital revenue cycle team, led by Ms. Kidder, received the prestigious HFMA MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Earlham College and an M.B.A. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
