Katina Williams, M.B.A.
Vice President, Corporate Finance

Katina Williams is vice president of corporate finance for the Johns Hopkins Health System. In this role, she provides strategic financial leadership to support the organization’s clinical, academic and research missions.
Insightful and collaborative, Williams brings more than two decades of experience in academic health care finance. Prior to her current role, she served as vice president of finance and chief financial officer for The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Earlier in her career, she held a variety of finance leadership positions at Duke University Health System.
Through these roles, Williams has led the development of innovative financial models to strengthen performance and margins, supported major growth and capital initiatives through comprehensive strategic planning, and contributed to care redesign and performance improvement programs aimed at enhancing operational and financial outcomes.
Williams, a native of North Carolina, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Business Administration from North Carolina State University. In addition, she completed the Johns Hopkins Executive Development Leadership Program and the Duke Executive Leadership Academy. HealthLeaders named her one of its 6 Most Influential CFOs of 2025, and she is also a recipient of the 2023 Baltimore Business Journal CFO Award.
In her free time, Katina mentors students from historically Black colleges and universities as a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. Dedicated to helping the community, she has volunteered with nonprofits and civic organizations including Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
