The Road Ahead
Transforming the Hopkins Campus: Construction Master Plan
At the start of the twenty-first century, The Johns Hopkins Hospital is at a critical point in its distinguished history. The patient care and research carried out on our campus are world class. But our buildings are aging—some are more than 70 years old—and require replacement or renovation to meet the challenges of twenty-first century medical practice. For that reason, we are embarking on a redevelopment initiative that will virtually transform our campus. At the heart of the transformation is the construction of two clinical towers—one devoted to cardiovascular and critical care, and one dedicated to children. We invite you to learn more about these exciting changes and welcome your involvement.
