Dr. Sonal Singh Wins Pharmacoepidemiology Award

Dr. SinghGIM’s Assistant Professor Sonal Singh, MD, MPH has won an award for his systematic review examining the association between pioglitazone and bladder cancer. The award was granted by the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology and presented at the 29th International Conference on Pharmacoepidemiology and Therapeutic Risk Management that was held in Montreal, Canada in late August. Dr. Singh’s research focuses on pharmaceutical outcomes research, drug safety and pharmacoepidemiology.
