Felicia Hill-Briggs' Paper Wins Neuropsychology Award

Dr. Hill-BriggsGIM's Felicia Hill-Briggs, PhD, has been informed that an article authored by her and her team has received the Nelson Butters Award from the National Academy of Neuropsychology. The Nelson Butters award is granted for the best research paper published in the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology during the preceding year. The article, titled "Cranial volume, mild cognitive deficits, and functional limitations associated with diabetes in a community sample," appeared in the February 2010 issue of the journal, which is sponsored by the Academy.

Dr. Hill-Briggs' coauthors include graduate student Andrea Christman and colleagues from the Department of Psychiatry in the School of Medicine. The award will be presented at the National Academy of Neuropsychology annual meeting in Marco Island, Florida in November.
