Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

The Johns Hopkins Hospital has been ranked as the #1 hospital in the country by US News and World Report for the past seventeen years. Henry Phipps Psychiatric Service

Since philanthropist Henry Phipps' endowment almost 100 years ago, the department has occupied a distinguished place in the history of psychiatry, with a continuous tradition of excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. In the US News and World Report, the Johns Hopkins Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has been consistently among the top five, ranking second in 2008.
