Experimental Procedure for Children With Knee Cartilage Defects

This study is recruiting children ages 10 to 17 with knee cartilage defects that cause pain or other symptoms. Our goal is to compare two treatments: membrane-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) procedure and microfracture treatment.

Botulinum Toxin Injections With Bracing for Scoliosis

This study, led by Dr. Amit Jain, aims to evaluate the combined effect of botulinum toxin A (administered as Dysport®) and bracing in children aged 10-16 years with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). Participants in this study will be compensated.

From sports injuries to spinal deformities, our orthopaedic surgeons are ready to meet with you at one of our care locations. If surgery is needed, it will be performed in a state-of-the-art operating unit at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
