Johns Hopkins Bayview 250th Anniversary Symposium invitation

Celebrating Two and a Half Centuries of Caring

On Monday, Oct. 7, from 3 to 5 p.m., Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s 250th Anniversary Symposium will be held at the Asthma & Allergy Center’s Richard A. Grossi Auditorium. We will focus on our clinical, research and educational achievements and continued dedication to the local community over the last 250 years, and announce our Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) community grants – awards that will address the most important health issues in our community.

Speakers will include Ronald Daniels, president, Johns Hopkins University; Theodore DeWeese, dean and CEO, Johns Hopkins Medicine; Kevin Sowers, president, Johns Hopkins Health System and executive vice president, Johns Hopkins Medicine; and Jennifer Nickoles, president, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, who will reflect on the significance of Johns Hopkins Bayview’s 250th anniversary and highlight the Medical Center’s commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of the community we serve.

Governor Wes Moore, Senate President Bill Ferguson and students from the Dundalk High School Musical Theatre also will attend as our special guests. The governor and senate president will share remarks to help commemorate the legacy of this historic anniversary.

Please RSVP to attend this special event as we continue to celebrate our rich history of patient care, research and education throughout the year.
