PRS Guitars-Journey Concert Benefits Cancer Programs

On Sunday, October 14th, Paul Reed Smith Guitars will again host the acclaimed "One Night One Show One Cause" concert featuring JOURNEY at the Modell Center for the Performing Arts at the Lyric Opera House in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.  The concert benefits the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.

Journey is one of the most popular American rock bands of all time, creating some of the best-known songs in modern music. They have continued to tour and record into the 21st century, and have never stopped creating vital music. Since the group's formation in 1973, the band has earned 19 Top 40 singles and 25 Gold and Platinum albums. The band's Greatest Hits album is certified 15 times Platinum, bringing Journey into the elite club of Diamond-certified album holders. In 2011, Journey received the Billboard “Legend of Live” Award. Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” is the most downloaded catalogue song of the 20th century.

The VIP preparty will feature the Journey of Hope Fashion Show hosted by Real Housewives’ Michaele Salahi, Live Guitar Auction of Artist autographed guitars from Carlos Santana to Slash, hosted by Jon Levinson of Alex Cooper Auctioneers, Small Plates by Classic Catering and American Harvest Organic Spirit cocktails by Sidney Frank Importing, Inc.

One Cause is the flagship benefit concert of PRS Guitars. Since 2000, PRS Guitars has raised over $2 million for the Living with Cancer Resource Program at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. The Living with Cancer Resource Program offers supportive care programming and education to cancer patients and families at Johns Hopkins, free of charge.

Seats begin at $75. VIP tickets at $250, $500, $1000 and includes premier seating and access to the VIP Preparty. The VIP preparty starts at 5:30 p.m., doors open 8 p.m. All ages show.

Journey line-up is Neal Schon (guitars, backing vocals), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Ross Valory (bass, backing vocals), Deen Castronovo (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Arnel Pineda (lead vocals).
