“We are deeply honored that Marilyn Horne, one of the greatest singers ever to have graced an opera stage and one of America’s musical treasures, is generously donating her time to support grand opera programming and opera education at the Modell Lyric. This event will assist us in the campaign to build a sustainable future for the art form we love so much” says James Harp, artistic director for the Model Lyric Performing Arts Center.
“This is a wonderful way to blend science and music as funds raised from this event will support innovative treatments for patients with pancreatic cancer” says Daniel Laheru, M.D., the Ian T.
