Media Alert: Jeeps for Joy to Donate More Than 100 Stuffed Animal Bears to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center

On September 30 Jeeps for Joy will form a Jeep procession and drive from Newark, Delaware to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to donate more than 100 Build-a-Bear stuffed animals to Children’s Center staff to later distribute to patients. Jeeps for Joy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in need within the Mid-Atlantic region.
Build-a-Bears are stuffed animals that often come with personalized accessories and attire, making them one-of-a-kind comfort items for children adjusting to being in the hospital. The stuffed animals will be used as birthday presents and bingo prizes for patients.

Jeeps for Joy donation to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center
A procession of 5-8 Jeeps will line up in front of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center to donate more than 100 stuffed animal bears to pediatric patients.
