“Hannah began her nursing career at Johns Hopkins All Children’s in 2019 and joined the PICU team in 2021. From her very first day on the unit, Hannah stood out for her clinical excellence, calm presence and commitment to learning. She quickly grew into a confident and highly skilled critical care nurse whose compassion for patients and families shines through every interaction. Early on, Hannah demonstrated natural leadership qualities. I remember our first conversations about her taking on the clinical team leader role – she was humble and initially hesitant. Once she took that step, her leadership flourished. Hannah leads by example: she supports her peers with grace, communicates with clarity, and always puts the needs of our patients and families first. Whether she’s mentoring a new nurse, managing a challenging shift or advocating for her patients, Hannah approaches each task with professionalism, empathy and a steady sense of teamwork. She’s a trusted resource to both her colleagues and leadership, and her positive attitude has made a lasting impact on the PICU culture. Her dedication, integrity and passion continue to elevate our team and the care we provide every day.”
Congratulations, Hannah, and thank you for your commitment to patient- and family-centered care.
