Geriatrics Engineering at Johns Hopkins is now open on the campus of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. A collaboration between the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Whiting School of Engineering, the center is focused on using innovative, practical technology-driven solutions to improve older adults’ quality of life.
Congratulations to Bruce Leff, who was awarded a three-year, $1.055M grant from the John A. Hartford Foundation at the beginning of 2026. This grant will support his work to develop and perform a pilot test of a home-based primary care practice recognition program and to continue expanding the National Home-Based Primary Care Learning Network through practice engagement in quality, education, and advocacy.
Congratulations to the Hopkins Economics of Alzheimer’s Disease and Services Center, whose funding was renewed by the National Institute on Aging at the end of 2025. The HEADS Center is co-led by Jennifer Wolff and Daniel Polsky with leadership team members Cynthia Boyd and Nancy Schoenborn.
