Join us in welcoming our next class of resident physicians.

Match Day is one of the most important days for graduating medical students. Across the country and the world, these students learn where they will spend the next years to continue their training.

Though many medical students applied to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, only a dozen per year secure a space in the Pediatrics Residency Program, along with one match into the Child Neurology Residency Program. On Friday, the National Resident Matching Program announced who will join the next class of residents in July 2026.

“Match Day is the culmination of years of hard work, resilience and dedication, not just for our students, but for the faculty and staff who have guided them,” says Mary Beth Wroblewski, M.D., Program Director of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Pediatrics Residency Program. It’s a moment of celebration and reflection: a reminder that medicine is a shared journey, built on mentorship, teamwork, and the commitment to serve patients. Whether a trainee matches here or elsewhere, today honors their potential and the promise of the next chapter in their professional lives.”

“As we celebrate Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s 100th anniversary, we are privileged and honored to contribute to an educational legacy that forms the next generation of excellent physicians who provide compassionate care to the children and families in our region and beyond,” says Clarimar Borrero-Mejias, M.D., Program Director of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Child Neurology Residency Program. “Each Match Day allows us the opportunity to mark a professional milestone and rejoice in the bountiful harvest of the medical students who match into our programs.”
