Sarah Schmitz, M.D.

Sarah Schmitz, M.D., joined the obstetrics and gynecology team at Johns Hopkins All Children's in St. Petersburg, Florida. She previously was an OB/GYN physician in Sarasota. She is originally from Buffalo, N.Y., where she practiced for several years after residency.

Schmitz earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where she served as chief resident and earned the Robert J. LaMagra Award, recognizing exceptional empathy and compassion for her patients. 

Her clinical interests include minimal invasive robotic surgery, menopause management and infertility.
