All Children’s Specialty Physicians opened a new maternal-fetal medicine practice in August in Fort Myers, Florida.

The clinic focuses on prenatal consultations and diagnostic services with most deliveries handled by obstetricians affiliated with Lee Health at hospitals within that system. Complex cases may be referred for delivery and postnatal care in St. Petersburg, or the newborn may be transferred to the Johns Hopkins All Children’s NICU after birth.

Perinatologist Lauren Silva is seeing patients at the site. Silva joined the medical staff in June 2025. All Children’s Specialty Physicians is recruiting an additional perinatologist for the location.

Silva earned her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida, followed by a fellowship in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Florida.

The Fort Myers clinic is All Children’s seventh location for maternal-fetal medicine, joining one in St. Petersburg, a clinic in Pasco County’s Trinity community, a clinic at the North Port Outpatient Care location, two locations in Bradenton and the perinatal unit at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.
