The Portrait Room

Established in 1929, the Wilmer Portrait Room was originally a space for staff to gather, rest and recharge before heading across the medical campus. In the early 1990s, the room was refurbished and the portraits of A. Edward Maumenee, M.D., Arnall Patz, M.D., Alan C. Woods, M.D. and William Holland Wilmer, M.D. were hung. Today, the room serves as a dignified setting for meetings, commemorations and special gatherings.
