Portrait of Adam May

Adam May
Undergrad: UC San Diego
Research Interests: I am interested in the systems biology of health and disease. My goal is to develop more effective treatments for disease after first quantitatively characterizing the biological and social factors that push an individual from a healthy to a diseased state. I am particularly interested in applying this approach toward diseases of the nervous and sensory systems.
Hobby: I have an insatiable desire to stare at maps. If I weren’t in medical school, I would want to work for Google Maps or be a long-haul truck driver.
What I Like To Do For Fun: I love driving! Nothing sets my mind at ease quite like driving down the road with music on the radio. I also enjoy jogging around Patterson Park and playing basketball with friends.
