Video of the Month: Cellular Flybys

Published in Fundamentals - Fundamentals March 2020

Cellular Flybys. To create this nanoscopic "drone" footage, scientists merged hundreds of images from a scanning electron microscope. The result, a 3-Dimensional view of cells.
First shown: "minimal genome" cells only 600 nanometers across.
Second shown: genetically engineered T cells that fight lymphoblastic leukemia.
Third Shown: organoids used to test chemotherapy treatments.
