We recognize that helping patients manage cancer-related pain is one of the most important aspects of their care. The best management for pain combines aggressive therapy with continual assessments to ensure that patients can maintain their quality of life.

Combined Therapies

Patients with pancreatic cancer may be treated with a combination of therapies. The goal of combination therapies is to improve the attack on cancer cells and its ability to evade and resist treatments over time. Combination therapies include two or more of the following used together:

• Surgery
• Radiation therapy
• Drug therapies: a single drug or two or more drugs in combination
• Immunotherapy
