Amanda and Chel's Story

Public awareness and education of lung cancer is outdated to today's reality. Chel Gorombol and Amanda Nerstad, both non-smokers, were diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer and it came as a complete shock. Anyone with lungs can be diagnosed with lung cancer. Amanda is a happily married, and an active, healthy mom to her young daughters. Chel loves spending time with her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and traveling with her amazing husband. Research plays a critical role in keeping them alive, enjoying life to its fullest, and still able to make memories with their families. They are fighting this disease together and will be in Dr. Lam's clinical trial that they are raising funds for.

Dr. Lam's research and clinical trials have already made significant advances in the lung cancer community and he is committed to finding a potential CURE!   Please join us in our efforts to help lung cancer patients, like myself, directly fund research that will one day, save our lives! I will never give up HOPE for a CURE!

It truly takes a village... with the help of doctors, researchers, patients, friends, family, and people like you, it is possible for this terminal disease to become a managed chronic disease like diabetes and give us hope for a cure.

Please donate today! I am living proof that research matters!

All donations will directly fund Dr. Lam's research and Phase 1 Clinical Trial.
