Kathleen Johnson, MA, RD, CNSC


Kathleen completed her training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She developed a passion for nutrition support, becoming a Certified Nutrition Support Specialist and honing her skills in treating complex disease states, using enteral and parenteral nutrition.

She received her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University. Since then she has worked in multiple settings, including some time at Trader Joe’s overseeing the creation of nutrition facts panel for products, but most recently at University of Maryland Medical Center in the Center for Weight Management and Wellness. Today she works one on one with individuals for gastrointestinal disorders, weight loss, diabetes, renal disease, cancer, pregnancy, and general wellness.

Kathleen will help patients create realistic goals and individualized plans to achieve them. Even the smallest changes can lead to lasting rewards. Kathleen lives in Baltimore with her husband and new son. In her free time, she enjoys going for a run around the Inner Harbor, checking out new coffee shops, and baking.
