Cardiovascular Specialists of Central Maryland (CSCM), a member of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians, includes 12 cardiologists serving patients throughout Howard County. Led by Michael Silverman, the group also provides inpatient cardiology services at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
In addition to a high volume inpatient device implantation program, CSCM recently expanded services to include routine electrophysiology procedures at the Howard County Ambulatory Surgery Center under the direction of Eric Schwartz. Expanding access to advanced cardiovascular care in ambulatory settings is a key priority for Johns Hopkins Medicine.
