Board-Certified Music Therapists

Kelly Morris, MT-BC, GC-C

Kelly Morris, MT-BC, is the Music Therapy Supervisor at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Kelly has a Bachelor's degree in music therapy with a minor in psychology from Appalachian State University as well as her certification in NICU Music Therapy. Additionally, she has completed training as a Grief Counselor to better serve and support patients and families. Kelly has been with Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital since 2012 in various Music Therapy roles, including clinical work, internship creation and coordination, supervising students and staff, and maintaining departmental needs. Before joining our team, Kelly gained experience working in populations ranging from hospice to school settings to residential facilities, with patients ranging in age from infants to older adults. Rachel Beverly, MT-BC

Rachel Beverly, MT-BC, is a board certified Music Therapist at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. She provides therapeutic services to patients within the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute (CBDI), as well as other inpatient units, addressing a range of goals such as decreasing anxiety, reducing perception of pain, improving positive coping skills, and increasing relaxation. Rachel obtained her Bachelors of Music in Music Therapy with a minor in Psychology from Elizabethtown College, and completed her internship at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. She has experience working with patients ranging in age from infancy to adulthood and has worked in various settings across the Tampa Bay, including patient homes, hospice facilities, and the Children's Cancer Center.

Hannah Keglovits, MT-BC

Hannah Keglovits, MT-BC, is the full-time intensive care unit and acute care music therapist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She has a Bachelor's degree in music therapy and a minor in painting from Belmont University, and she completed her internship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. She has experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings, including organizations such as Community of Actors Sharing in Theatre, School of Rock, Sandy Hill Camp and more.

Internship and Volunteer Information

  • Music Therapy Clinical Internship Program

    The Music Therapy Department serves as an American Music Therapy Association national roster clinical internship training site. Music therapy interns complete a 1,200 clinical hour internship and are selected through an application and interview process after completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an approved program.

  • Music Volunteers

    The Music Therapy Department offers a music volunteer program through our Volunteer Resources. Music volunteers aid the music therapy team in helping patients cope, normalize the environment, and uplift the hospital setting. Music volunteers serve the hospital setting under the direction of the music therapist and complete an application, audition, and interview process.
