The faculty information site is being expanded to provide the full-time and part-time faculty with a single web location for information, current issues and faculty development material that can be readily accessed. It will be updated to reflect new initiatives for faculty as well as new issues for faculty within JH Medicine. The final report of the Committee on Faculty Development and Gender is provided hereas well as future updates on progress and follow-up but the new Assistant Dean for Faculty Develoment. The annual New Faculty Orientation provides a roadmap for faculty to the institution and its leadership, the promotion process, educational roles of faculty and new initiatives, research and Office of Research Administration, faculty policies and compliance issues. Since it is difficult for all faculty to attend the presentations are provided on this website. I look forward to developing a site that is comprehensive for faculty information and support.
