The clinical mission of the Johns Hopkins Schizophrenia Center is to provide state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment for individuals with schizophrenia and related disorders, including schizophreniform disorder, schizoaffective disorder, delusional disorder, and Psychosis NOS. We recognize the central role of families in the process of diagnosis and treatment and the right of every patient to receive the finest quality medical care in an atmosphere of honesty and respect.

Acute Inpatient Evaluation and Treatment

An inpatient unit of The Johns Hopkins Hospital for patients who are acutely ill or who would benefit from a comprehensive inpatient evaluation. > Learn more

Day Hospital (Partial hospitalization)

An intensive day-time outpatient program for the evaluation and treatment of individuals who do not require inpatient care. Transportation to and from home or temporary housing is available. > Learn more

Adult Outpatient Consultation Clinic

A comprehensive evaluation for adults (typically 21 and over) seeking consultation or a second opinion concerning schizophrenia or a related condition. > Learn more

Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Consultation Clinic.

A comprehensive evaluation for individuals, typically under the age of 21, with recent onset, or possible onset, of schizophrenia or a related condition.> Learn more

Early Psychosis Intervention Clinic

An outpatient treatment program for individuals, typically adolescents or young adults, who have recently developed schizophrenia or a related disorder. > Learn more

Neuropsychological Evaluation

Assessments of cognition, learning, and memory designed to help individuals with schizophrenia and related conditions determine strengths and weaknesses relevant to treatment, education, and employment.
