Johns Hopkins Children's Center

We welcome two parents or care partners 24/7. Other friends and family are welcome to visit between the hours of 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Before you visit, please review our Care Partner and Visitor Policy.

Suburban Hospital

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center

John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center

When visiting a patient, keep in mind:

Hand Hygiene

Always wash your hands or use the hand gel dispensers when entering the hospital and patient rooms. Hand washing is the best protection against spreading diseases.

Photo or Video Restrictions

Due to government privacy laws, photographs and video recording are not allowed without prior patient and hospital consent.

Smoking: Tobacco-Free Campuses

To promote the health and safety of patients, staff and visitors, all Johns Hopkins hospitals are tobacco-free. Smoking is not permitted in any area of our hospitals or on the grounds.

Visitor Welcoming System at The Johns Hopkins Hospital

The system is in place at several entrances to The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Children's Center. Patients, visitors and care partners will be required to register and present a valid photo ID when entering our hospital buildings. You will receive a printed badge that should be worn at all times while in the hospital.
