Outpatient care for adults with a variety of malignancies of varying acuity levels.

• Weinberg Levels 1 and 2
• Green Spring Station

Patient Population

• Adult oncology patients during all phases of treament including standard care regimens, cutting edge research and supportive care. Treatment includes progressive modes of therapy and symptom management
• All malignancy diagnoses, including hematologic and solid tumor

Number of Beds

• Weinberg:
  • 70 chemotherapy chairs/beds
  • 25 exam/consult rooms
• Green Spring Station:
  
  • 10 chemotherapy chairs/beds
  • 11 exam/consult rooms

Nurse/Patient Ratio

• 1:6

Rotation/Shifts

• Monday through Friday day shift with rare Saturday rotation; no holidays

Skill Mix

• 70 percent RN; with clinical associate support
• 1 to 2 years RN experience required; oncology experience preferred

Orientation

• 8 week program including oncology classes and precepted time with experienced RN staff
• New Grads: SPRING program
