Social Security

Our Patient and Family Services will guide you through supplemental security income, if you fit the criteria in qualifying for social security, if you financially qualify and more information on how to apply. This series will help you navigate through the fine print of cancer.

Palliative Care

Ease without curing is what the pallative care team does at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center'. The pallative care team focuses on improving quality of life to seriously ill patients. In this segment, Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center's senior social worker discusses hospice. He will answer questions such as why hospice, hospice costs, hospices services and more. Caregiving

In this segment featuring caregivers, you as a caregiver for your loved one, will get the information you need to perform your caregiver role. Your caregiver kit will include love, hope and courage amoung many other things. This series will help you through the fine print of cancer.
