The Ride to Conquer Cancer is an incredible 2 day, 150+ mile ride to raise funds that support scientific discoveries to determine which treatments and screening interventions will work best for individual cancer patients at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Sibley Memorial and Suburban Hospitals.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer's first benefit event in the U.S. drew thousands of riders -- some experienced cyclists; some not -- to unite in a single cause: helping the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, Sibley Memorial and Suburban Hospitals use scientific discoveries to get the right treatments to the right patients at the right time. The two-day cycling event through areas of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. raised $2.6 million in its inaugural ride and is now registering riders for 2015.
