Doobie Brothers Play PRS Guitars Benefit for the Kimmel Cancer Center

Baltimore, Maryland. Saturday Evening, October 12th Paul Reed Smith Guitars will again host the acclaimed One Night One Show One Cause Benefit featuring The Doobie Brothers  for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at the Modell Center for the Performing Arts at the Lyric Opera House in Downtown Baltimore, Maryland.
 
The Doobie Brothers recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of their propulsive roots-based, harmony laden, guitar driven style that sold an estimated 40 million records over the course of four decades. Their most recent album ,World Gone Crazy, produced the Top 20 track “Far From Home” and the Top 5 GAC Video “World Gone Crazy.” Earlier this year, the band released “Let the Music Play: The Story of the Doobie Brothers” DVD, which tells the story of The Doobie Brothers from their beginnings in California in 1970 to worldwide success.
 
VIP Preparty will feature Meet and Greet with the band, Live Guitar Auction of Artist autographed guitars from Carlos Santana to Slash, hosted by Jon Levinson of Alex Cooper Auctioneers, catered small plates and American Harvest  Organic Spirit cocktails by Sidney Frank Importing, Inc..
 
One Cause is the flagship benefit concert of PRS Guitars.  Since 2000, PRS Guitars has raised over $2.5 million for the Living with Cancer Resource Program at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center also celebrating their 40th Anniversary in 2013.  The Living with Cancer Resource Program offers supportive care programming and education to cancer patients and families at Johns Hopkins - free of charge.

Seats begin at $36.  VIP tickets at $180, $250, $1000 and includes premier seating and access to VIP Preparty.
VIP Preparty starts at 5:30, doors open 8pm.  All ages show.

The Doobie Brothers live line up is (in alphabetical order): Guy Allison (keyboards/vocals); John Cowan (bass/vocals); Tom Johnston (vocals/guitar); John McFee (guitar/strings/vocals); Tony Pia (drums); Marc Russo (saxophones); Pat Simmons (vocals/guitar), and; Ed Toth (drums).
