Swim Across America Celebrates 25 Years

Swim Across America, Inc. is a fundraising organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. The money raised throughout their numerous swimming events, held throughout the US, is used for cancer research, awareness and prevention. This year marks their 25th anniversary.

Swim Across America Laboratory

Swim Across America, Inc., an organization of volunteer swimmers and friends and family members of cancer patients that raises money for cancer research through swim events, has funded a laboratory at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center headed by oncologist Luis Diaz, M.D. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 20, 2011.
