Baltimore City Mayor, Sheila Dixon

Baltimore's City Mayor, Shelia Dixon appears at the local Safeway located on Boston Street in Canton to support breast cancer awareness and research at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.

Mayor Shelia Dixion is one of a group of local elected officials from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. who have volunteered to work bagging groceries at selected Safeway stores in the mid-Atlantic region throughout October.  The legislators are not moonlighting for supplemental income, but instead are assisting the grocery retailer in raising money for its month-long breast cancer fundraising campaign.
