Research Summary

Dr. Nimmagadda’s research focus is on developing imaging agents for early detection of metastatic disease. Current focus is on understanding the role of chemokine receptors in cancer progression and metastasis. Ongoing studies include development and evaluation of positron emission tomography (PET), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) based radiopharmaceuticals and optical imaging agents for chemokine receptors four and seven (CXCR4 and CXCR7).
