Community Outreach: Edward

Edward, 57, received a free prostate cancer screening through Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center’s Maryland Cigarette Restitution Fund-sponsored cancer education and screening program.  He had a friend who died from prostate cancer, and decided to get screened himself.  “These screenings are so important,” says Burns.  “There are a lot of people who don’t have insurance and can’t afford to pay a doctor.”
