The Institute for Excellence in Education (IEE) of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in conjunction with Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Office of Graduate Medical Education announced in September 2012 a call for proposals for the Resident Redesign Challenge Grant.
Purpose of Award: This grant was intended to support and complete projects to rethink and redesign residency training programs for the 21st Century, while fostering the career development of the educator faculty. We sought a significant rethinking and redesign, not minor modifications. Successful pilots were to consider how such a model could be exportable nationally.
This is a one time grant with the possibility of renewal for a second year.
