Pancreatitis Center


The Johns Hopkins Pancreatitis Center provides comprehensive multidisciplinary clinical care to patients suffering from acute or chronic pancreatitis, including medical, endoscopic and surgical care. Specialized treatment, including total pancreatectomy and islet cell autotransplantation, for patients with serious or chronic conditions is also available at the center.

The center’s team consists of gastroenterologists, pancreatic surgeons, radiologists, pathologists and chronic pain physicians. Each physician has a dedicated interest in providing optimal clinical care for patients suffering from pancreatitis and its related symptoms. Working together, this multidisciplinary team offers each patient a treatment plan that takes into account all facets of the disease and its symptoms.

Experts in the care of pancreatitis, the doctors that work with the center have years of experience in treating acute and chronic pancreatitis. They are not only provide clinical expertise, they are also well aware the challenges and issues that patients with pancreatitis face and can work with patients to resolve those issues.
