Dr. Asa Margolis has a passion for out-of-hospital medicine and education serving as Program Director of the Johns Hopkins Emergency Medical Services Fellowship, Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Lifeline Critical Care Transport Program, Associate Medical Director of the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services, and Deputy Medical Director of the United States Secret Service.

Dr. Eric Garfinkel started his career in EMS as a volunteer EMT in Pennsylvania and is now a board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University, Assistant Medical Director at Johns Hopkins Lifeline, and Assistant Medical Director at Howard County Department of Fire & Rescue Services. His focus is on education and prehospital airway management.

Heidi Hubble has extensive experience in Emergency Medical Services and leadership starting her career as an EMS clinician before transition to a Communications Supervisor for Lifeline, and ultimately the Director of Operations.

Dr. Matthew Levy has leadership roles within Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine and Maryland’s EMS system. He is also chair of the national non-profit Stop the Bleed Coalition. In addition, he actively participates in various local, state, federal, and international organizations related to prehospital, operational, and disaster medical care.

Sam Matta has spent the past two decades as an emergency/critical care nurse, including the first 4 years with the U.S. Army. Sam has always had a passion for education and was a founding member of a non-profit with the mission of offering low or no cost education to the public safety aviation community.

Dr. Noje is a pediatric critical care clinician, educator, and program builder with expertise in pediatric critical care transport medicine. She is the Medical Director for the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Transport program.

His goal is to identify and improve the delivery of life saving interventions by facilitating collaborative research across multiple disciplines.
