How to Apply

The Johns Hopkins University Division of Nephrology participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).  The Hopkins program has a 100% NRMP match rate.

The 2024 - 2025 interview season with be conducted remotely through video conferencing software.

ERAS Application

  • All applicants for the fellowship program must submit their application online through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please be sure to provide the following:
  • Completed application
  • TThree letters of recommendation, including letters from your residency training director and research mentor [if applicable].
  • Personal statement concisely describing your previous clinical and research training, career goals in Nephrology, and potential research interests (if applicable)

NRMP Registration

All applicants to the Nephrology fellowship program are required to register with the NRMP.

Important Dates

July 3, 2024: Candidates may submit applications to ERAS
July 17, 2024: Programs may access applications on ERAS
November 20, 2024: Rank order list certification deadline
December 4, 2024: Match Day
