C-MIMI- Conference on Machine Intelligence in Medical Imaging

Building on the success of the 1st SIIM C-MIMI, the upcoming scientific conference will once again bring together experts on machine learning methods and medical imaging informatics to discuss state-of-the-art methods, best practices and tools for research in this area, regulatory and business considerations in applying machine learning methods to medical images.

The Big Data Dinner is an opportunity for Johns Hopkins professionals interested in the evolution of data at Hopkins to learn about new technologies and methods to promote advances in patient care through information. The Clinical Systems Advisory Committee (CSAC) provides advice and recommendations as it reviews technologies in support of patient care, clinical research, and medical education. It promotes the use of technology to support patient safety, clinical efficiency, and outcomes research. As well as establishes standards and discusses alternative approaches to clinical systems development activities.

A symposium that brings Johns Hopkins’ very own health tech innovators together in one space to collaborate and impart momentum on fellow innovators in digital health. Happenings for the day include a glimpse into how Johns Hopkins leaders are driving innovation, a keynote by Dan Vahdat; CTO of Medopad, panel dialogues, and a product showcase.

This event marks the end of the technology and business design training for HEXCITE’s start-up teams and the beginning of their technology development work. The teams will pitch their concepts and accomplishments from the time the program kicked off in August 2017 and gain valuable feedback from the audience to help guide them in finishing development of their minimum viable product with support from the Technology Innovation Center.

The Technology Innovation Center kicked off regular forums for developers and technologists at Johns Hopkins in 2015. Developers convene to learn about new technologies and projects across the university, and engage in discussion around software, process, and technology’s evolution.
